I'm Maryam, a 33-year-old train driver at Transport for London, deeply committed to driving positive change. Co-founding REM London with my mother Roda, whose exceptional seamstress skills were instrumental in crafting our initial prototypes, we recognized the pressing need to combat cold feet during sleep and curb landfill waste. Over five years, leveraging Roda's expertise, we secured patents in the UK & Europe and anchored our mission in ethical, sustainable practices. As two women on a mission, our journey epitomises resilience, innovation, and unwavering determination.
